Release of XMLmind XML Editor v11.3

XMLmind XML Editor has not been tested against macOS 27 (Golden Gate) and against Java™ 27. Therefore this operating system and this Java™ runtime are not yet officially supported.

Enhancements:

  • Release of XMLmind XML Editor Web Edition version 1.8.2. See changes.
  • DITA, DocBook, XHTML, Ebook configurations:
    • Added a "Repeat Convert to" menu item below the "Convert Document" sub-menu. Keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Alt-A (Cmd+Opt-A on the mac). The corresponding command called repeatLastConversion may be used to quickly repeat the same conversion on a given document without having to first select an entry in the "Convert Document" sub-menu and then use a dialog box to specify the output file.
    • The entries of the "Convert Document" sub-menu all display a dialog box letting the user select the output file and optionally, preview the result of the conversion using an external application. The choice made using "Preview result in a helper application" is now persistent across editing sessions.
  • Updated FlatLaf to version 3.7.2 (On Linux, the "FlatLaf" light theme is used as the default Look & Feel.)
  • "Edit source" add-on: upgraded its RSyntaxTextArea components to version 4.0.1.
  • Upgraded Saxon to version 12.10.
  • "WebP Support" add-on: upgraded TwelveMonkeys ImageIO to version 3.15.2.
  • Upgraded XMLmind DITA Converter (ditac for short) to version 3.18.3.
  • Upgraded XMLmind Ebook Compiler (ebookc for short) to version 1.12.3.

Bug fixes:

  • XXE ignored the width specification found in XHTML col element when this col element was a child of a colgroup element and when the width of the column was specified using the style attribute (e.g. style="width: 20%"). Note that, if allowed by the XHTML DTD or schema, using the col/@width attribute to specify the width of a column worked fine.
