Enhancements:

• XMLmind XSL Utility: added an "Open containing folder" button which lets the user open the folder containing the output file in the standard file explorer of the operating system (e.g. the Finder on the Mac).
• XMLmind XSL Utility and XMLmind XSL Server: upgraded the following software components:
  • Updated FlatLaf to version 3.6.0. (On Linux, the FlatLaf light theme is used as the default Look & Feel of XMLmind XSL Utility.)
  • Upgraded Saxon to version 12.7.
  • Upgraded XMLResolver to version 5.3.3.
  • Upgraded the Apache Batik plug-in to version 1.19.
  • Upgraded the Apache FOP plug-in to version 2.11.
  • Upgraded XMLmind Assembly Processor to version 2.0.2.
  • Upgraded XMLmind Web Help Compiler (whc for short) to version 3.6.1.
  • Upgraded XMLmind DITA Converter (ditac for short) to version 3.17.2, which has TeX/LaTeX math support and automatic image extraction and conversion capabilities.

    In order to benefit from these enhancements, XMLmind XSL Utility and XMLmind XSL Server now automatically register image converters based on Batik (SVG to PNG), JEuclid (MathML to SVG or PNG) and JLaTeXMath (TeX/LaTeX math to SVG or PNG) with their ditac-based DITA processors.

• All programs which are part of XMLmind XSL-FO Converter are now officially supported on Java™ 24 platforms.

Bug fixes:

• XMLmind XSL Server: sending a non-multi-part request to the servlet could make HttpServletRequest.getParameterNames raise a "Character decoding failed" exception.

What is XMLmind XSL-FO Converter?

XMLmind XSL-FO Converter is an XSL-FO processor similar to Apache FOP, RenderX XEP or Antenna House XSL Formatter, except that it generates RTF, WML, ODT and DOCX file formats rather than PDF.
