Version 27.1 of the Oxygen XML Suite of Products is Now Available!

Syncro Soft is proud to announce the immediate availability of version 27.1 of its industry-leading XML suite of products: Oxygen XML EditorAuthorDeveloperJSON EditorWeb AuthorPublishing EngineWebHelpPDF Chemistry, and Scripting.

This release introduces further enhancements to its AI-driven technology through the Oxygen AI Positron Assistant and AI integration in XProc, offers a refined JSON editing experience, incorporates DITA-OT 4.3 for robust publishing workflows, and delivers performance and security enhancements across all products.

Notable improvements include:

  • AI Positron Assistant v4.1: Enhanced with actions to fix validation issues and generate MathML, plus the option to preview changes for all affected files before accepting them and notifications when an AI action does not result in any changes. New callback functions facilitate dynamic workflows, while attach-from-computer features allow users to provide local file content to AI prompts.
  • XSLT/XProc/JSON Updates: Support for custom parsers in XSLT, the ability to run AI-enabled XSLT stylesheets within the XProc Calabash engine alongside XProc version 3.1 schema support, and automatic insertion of required content in JSON documents (Author mode) speed up development cycles.
  • Git Integration: The Git Client add-on now supports cherry-picking, merging, signed commits, and improved branch management, making collaborative version control more efficient.
  • DITA-OT 4.3 Integration: The latest toolkit includes contributions from two Oxygen XML developers, updates the DITA 2.0 and Lightweight DITA support, and allows embedding DITA elements in Markdown.
  • Differences view: Oxygen XML Web Author users can quickly identify and understand changes in review comments with improved clarity and ease.
  • Performance and Security: Parallel file formatting accelerates batch indentation, while new security measures and updated libraries offer increased reliability.
