The Zeus Java to XML binding tool is intended to provide developers a higher level Application Programming Interface (API) than the Document Object Model (DOM) or Simple API for XML (SAX) to increase the accessibility of XML. Zeus is a component of the Enhydra Open Source Java/XML Application Server.

Zeus generates Java source files from Document Type Definitions (DTDs) or XML Schema, and will support REgular LAnguage description for XML (RELAX) schemas in the future. Zeus also provides an extensible method of XML/Java conversion that is able to convert XML documents into Java class objects and back.
