The Perl-based Web Resource Application Framework (WRAF) project is developing a Resource Description Framework (RDF) Application Programming Interface (API) to promote the development of semantic web applications that implement RDF's data model in its full capacity.

WRAF uses RDF for its data, User Interface (UI), object methods and modules. To keep all the data in one environment, it employs interfaces that enable it to read and update information from: configuration files, databases, XML files and LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) sources.
