WEB ENGINE is a drag and drop editor for making cross-browser web animations using Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language (DHTML) and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) without plug-in dependencies.

This release adds significant support for SVG, implementing the majority of features available for SVG using DHTML.

Implemented SVG features include: transparency, advanced animation, automatic conversions from Rich Text Format (RTF) to HTML and SVG formatted text, and a visual table editor that exports to HTML or SVG.

The developer plans additional SVG features as the Viewer and the standard are enhanced.

SVG is supported via Adobe SVG Viewer (http://www.xml.com/pub/r/639). Windows, Internet Explorer 4.01 or later, and Netscape 3.0 or later are also required.
