Microarray Markup Language (MAML)
Date: Dec. 18, 2000 MAML is an XML-based data format for communicating information about a DNA-array experiment. The language provides a framework for describing experiments done on all types of DNA-arrays and a format to represent microarray data in a flexible way which allows the representation of both raw and processed microarray data. MAML is compatible with the definition of the 'minimum information about a microarray experiment' (MIAME) proposed by the Microarray Gene Expression Database Group (MGED Group). |
