The Java2-based NewsML Toolkit is an open source library for processing News Markup Language (NewsML) documents.

This version adds support for basis-for-choice selection and formal names, provides an extensible conformance test library with 300+ unit tests (against the NewsML 1.0 specification) and includes full XML Path Language (XPath) support via Jaxen. NewsML Toolkit is distributed under a GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL).
