XDB is an XML document repository providing structured storage of XML data, at present using an Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) mapping over PostgreSQL.

XDB provides a fast and scalable XML database framework with support for both XML Path Language (XPath) and XML Query Language (XQL), and the ability to store XML documents and SAX APIs.
