This document defines a subset of the Cascading Style Sheets Level 2 (CSS2) tailored to the needs and constraints of mobile devices, in order to provide minimal guarantee of interoperability for devices such as wireless phones. The CSS Mobile Profile specifies a conformance profile for mobile devices, identifying a minimum set of properties, values, selectors, and cascading rules. Media-specific style sheets are supported, so presentation can be customized for visual browsers, aural devices, printers, braille devices, handheld devices, and other media platforms.
