Netscape 6 Preview Release 3 (Netscape 6 PR3), based on the Gecko Layout Engine, is now very fast and has a new, more polished interface with shading, 3D groove effects and reworked button placements. The browser includes more support for XML, and claims full support for the Document Object Model (DOM) and Cascading Style Sheets level 1 (CSS1). HTML 4.0 support will be completed in the final release. Dynamic HTML (DHTML) is not supported in this release.

The browser is a 300k download, which gives you an application that downloads 7.5 MB of installer components. PR3 is released under the Mozilla Public License. The preview is available on Windows, Macintosh and UNIX.

This release is also able to print web pages.
