Outline Processor Markup Language (OPML) is a format for storing outlines (such
as those produced by any of several popular outliners for personal computers) in
XML. Each outline is represented as a tree, where each node contains a set of
named attributes with string values. The purpose of the format is to provide a
way to exchange information between outliners and Internet services that can be
browsed or controlled through an outliner.
OPML is also the format used by RadioUserland.com, Userland's MP3 site.
