The XChart Opnote Generator demo is an XML application which generates surgical operative reports via XSLT templates. The system employs Java servlets and eXtensible Style Language Transformations (XSLT) templates to generate surgical operative reports (real patient information should not be entered into the unencrypted demonstration). The ultimate goal of this implementation of the XChart native XML application is the creation of a universal, long lasting, indexed, searchable electronic medical record.
