Resource Guide -> XHTML, W3C Standards-in-progress, SMIL, DOM -> XHTML Events
XHTML EventsWorking Draft The XHTML Events provides an updated syntax used to "attach" to the semantics used by the DOM Level 2 Event Model and was designed specifically to be used in conjunction with XHTML modules and SMIL modules. The XHTML Events event syntax module allows an XHTML host language to integrate behaviors with events as defined in Document Object Model Level 2 (DOM2). This gives XHTML based languages a mechanism for associating behaviors with markup. This document also defines XHTML language event types, and describes a subset of XHTML Events for simpler applications and mobile devices known as the XHTML Basic Events Module. |
