Abstract: "This document presents Timed Interactive Multimedia Extensions for HTML (HTML+TIME). This is a proposal for adding timing and synchronization support to HTML. HTML+TIME builds upon the SMIL recommendation to extend SMIL concepts into HTML and web browsers. The current version is a result of collaboration and review among Microsoft, Macromedia, Compaq/Digital and Digital Renaissance. It is currently only a proposal and subject to change. It assumed that the reader is familiar with the ideas expressed in the W3C Recommendation: SMIL [SMIL]."
