This Note was produced by the W3C TV-Web Interest Group as a result of continued discussions regarding the use of URI schemes suited suited for TV Broadcast environments. The document begins to define the potential requirements of URI schemes used to identify resources in Television (TV) Broadcast environments, lists some global usage cases, summarizes several examples of typical TV Broadcast URI use cases, makes a distinction between Global and Local usage, and identifies a potential hierarchy of resource types.
