This collection of Shakespeare plays was designed by Jon Bosak to provide beginners with example DTDs and source files to practice validation and test parsers.

The plays have been tested as valid SGML (according to nsgmls) and valid XML (according to nsgmls, the Java Software Project X parser, and the validator developed by the Scholarly Technology Group at Brown University).
