This tutorial explains how to draw and combine the shapes available in Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) to construct an image of a telephone. Rectangles, circles, ellipses, lines, polylines, polygons and paths are explained; style attributes (which can be used to create gradient effects) are not covered.
