This updated version of the Java-based XML Security Suite for Business-to-Business (B2B) messaging adds new security features such as digital signature, element-wise encryption, and access control that are beyond the capability of transport-level security protocols such as SSL. This release supports XercesJ1.1 and provides reference implementations of DOMHASH (an implementation of XML digital signatures that is being discussed in both IETF and W3C).
