XML-DBMS is a set of Java packages used for transferring data between XML documents and relational databases. These classes allow an XML document to be viewed as a tree of objects, and then uses an XML-based object-relational mapping language to map those objects into a relational database.

This is an Alpha release that is freely distributable under "the (John) Cowan variation of the (David) Megginson license" (No copyright, no warranty, use as you will). The XML-DBMS web site also contains very detailed introductory documentation, the XML-DBMS DTD, and many example documents.
