This tutorial explains the names, functions and uses of the contents of the XUL toolbox; including chromes, packages, skins and widgets. Also discussed are the Document Object Model (DOM) and Application Object Model (AOM), events, and the three "XP" technologies that link the core with the interface (Cross-Platform Component Object Model - XPCOM, Cross-Platform Interface Definition Language - XPIDL, and Cross-Platform Connect - XPConnect).
