xmlBlaster is a message-oriented middleware (MOM) server written in Java for exchanging messages (described with XML-encoded meta information) between publishers and subscribers. Messages may contain GIF images, Java objects, Python scripts, XML data, Word documents, plain text, or just about any other data. Communication is based on CORBA, and subscribers can use XPath expressions to filter the messages they wish to receive. Perl, C/C++ and Java (applications, applets, servlets) client demos are included in the xmlBlaster testsuite.
