This W3C Member Submission/Note describes Web Services Conversation Language (WSCL), an XML language for describing the protocol bindings and interfaces of available network services. Once available services have been discovered via a mechanism such as Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI), WSCL descriptions help Web services clients and peers determine how to invoke a service and the order for exhanging documents.

One intended application of WSCL to help Electronic Commerce partners to achieve more dynamism in the exchange of transaction information.
