Java Universal Markup Browser for Objects (Jumbo) is a Java-based molecular browser for Chemical Markup Language (CML) and XML documents.

The Jumbo toolkit includes an independent CML editor, documentation for the subset of CML for building CML applications known as CoreCML, a number of molecules described in CML and the SimpleCML introduction to CML programming.

Jumbo requires a Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) browser plugin such as Adobe SVG View, Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.3.1 or later and Java 3D Application Programming Interface (API).

The toolkit supports Windows 98/NT/2000/XP and Mac OS X. This distribution (jumbo3.zip, 1.7 Mb) contains the parts of the Jumbo 3D project that are currently released as open source.
