Extensible Multi-Dimensional Simulator (xmds) is a software package used in solving field integration problems in applications such as lattice simulations for study of the atom-molecular interaction process. The package uses XML to receive high level mathematical descriptions of problems, Extensible Scientific Interchange Language (XSIL) for input and output of raw data and the Swing-based Xlook browser for visualization. xmds generates a low level program capable of processing the mathematical models in a usable amout of time.
