The Jena Semantic Web Toolkit is a Java Application Programming Interface (API) and software toolkit for manipulating Resource Description Framework (RDF) models.

Jena Toolkit integrates both David Megginson's RDFFilter RDF processor and the Another RDF Parser (ARP) Java-based RDF/XML parser, which is compliant with the latest RDF Core Working Group recommendations.

The Toolkit provides support for RDF Data Query Language (RDQL) queries, storing DARPA Agent Markup Language (DAML) ontologies, a Berkeley DB -based persistent storage module and an open storage architecture that allows for other storage schemes. This site provides links to the specification and whitepapers, the Jena Toolkit package, documentation and a discussion list.

Jena Toolkit is distributed under an HP freeware license (retention of copyright notice required).
