Investor Relations Extensible Markup Language (irXML) is the name of both an XML-based language for Investor Relations (IR) applications and a development and content management tool for IR-related Web sites.

The language provides over 50 tags for managing information about the financial performance of companies for current and potential stockholders, such as StockQuote, EarningsFirstCall, GeneralFundamentals, InvestorType and EdgarSearch. The content management tool helps companies and developers author IR sites to be hosted either at Shareholder.com or in-house, and provides automatic generation of XML, ColdFusion Markup Language (CDML), Javascript, Perl and Active Server Pages (ASP).

The tool also handles conversion of HTML pages to XML and dynamic Web Distributed Data Exchange (WDDX) interaction with Flash.
