The Sun Multi-Schema XML Validator (MSV) is a Java -based tool for validating XML documents against several schema types. MSV is available as a command-line validation tool for hand coders and as a Java library developers may use to handle schema-related tasks.

MSV supports most of XML Schema, Regular Language Description for XML Next Generation (RELAX NG), RELAX Namespace, RELAX Core, Tree Regular Expressions for XML (TREX) and Document Type Definitions (DTDs).

The MSV package is distributed under an Apache Software License and Sun Binary Software License Agreement, and is available as a free download (brief registration required).
