The Java-based Xybrix application framework is an Application Programming Interface (API) that is primarily (but not exclusively) for building XML applications. Xybrix employs XML for defining the properties and configuration of the application.

Xybrix includes a Swing-based graphical form design tool that implements a variation of the W3C's XForms. The framework also integrates with the SayWhat speech plugin to provide Java Speech API (JSAPI) -driven applications.

This site provides links for the Xybrix API, the Xybrix package and a FAQ.

Java 2, Xerces 1.3 or later, Saxpath 1.0 or later and Jaxen 1.0 or later are required. Xybrix is distributed under the open source MIT License.
