XML Validator is a C++ XML Toolkit-based command line utility that processes XML in either a "well-formed" or "validating" mode.

Input may be from a local file system, via pipes, or from an URL (HTTP or FTP). Non-English speaking users may download the Native Language Authoring Kit to set error messages and other text to their native language.

The utility offers support for XML 1.0 Second Edition (and errata), the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS) XML Catalogs specification, XML Namespaces and the full Unicode character range.

XML Validator is available as a free download (brief registration required), and supports Solaris, Windows and Linux.
