Resource Guide -> IETF Specifications, SOAP -> Using SOAP in BEEP
Using SOAP in BEEP
Date: Aug. 3, 2001 BEEP was developed to be an application protocol framework for writing message-oriented application protocols. Rather than being a replacement for any existing protocol, BEEP has been described as a "best hits album of the tricks used by experienced application protocol designers since the early 80's". A discussion of Using SOAP in BEEP will take place on the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) BEEP Working Group's mailing list. |
