This document describes the transmission of Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) using Blocks Extensible Exchange Protocol (BEEP, also known as BXXP).

BEEP was developed to be an application protocol framework for writing message-oriented application protocols. Rather than being a replacement for any existing protocol, BEEP has been described as a "best hits album of the tricks used by experienced application protocol designers since the early 80's". A discussion of Using SOAP in BEEP will take place on the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) BEEP Working Group's mailing list.
