Basic Semantic Web Language (BSWL)

The Basic Semantic Web Language (BSWL) is a proposal for a "stripped down RDF-in-XML syntax" that uses a simpler abstract data model than the RDF Model and Syntax specification. BSWL also uses a simpler XML-based syntax than RDF, (without the use of typed or anonymous nodes), while allowing trees to be formed into triples through the use of nested QNames (a special syntax is provided for referring to QNames). BSWL also provides for a more abbreviated syntax than RDF's current provisions.
