The Java APIs for XML (JAX) Pack integrates all of Sun's programming interfaces for web services development and makes them available as a single download.

Included in the bundle are Java API for XML Processing (JAXP), Java Architecture for XML Binding (JAXB), Java API for XML Messaging (JAXM), Java API for XML-based RPC (JAX-RPC) and Java API for XML Registries (JAXR). Jax Pack includes documentation and provides support for the Simple Application Programming Interface for XML (SAX), Document Object Model (DOM), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Web Services Definition Language (WSDL), Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT), Electronic Business XML (ebXML) and Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI) standards. Sun promises quarterly updates for currency.
