4Suite is a collection of Python tools for XML processing and object database management.

4Suite includes: the 4ODS implementation of Object Data Management Group (ODMG) 3.0, the 4DOM implementation of Document Object Model Level 1 (DOM1), Document Object Model Level 2 (DOM2) and the DbDOM persistent DOM implementation that provides object database storage for applications and documents with persistence requirements. It also contains: 4XSLT Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT) processor implementing XSLT 1.0, a 4XPath library implementing XML Path Language (XPath) 1.0, a 4XPointer library implementing XML Pointer Language (XPointer) 1.0 for link end resolution, the 4XLink library which implements a subset of XML Linking Language (XLink) 1.0, the 4RDF Resource Description Framework (RDF) toolkit with schema, persistence and RDF Inference Language (RIL) support.

In addition to being a standalone product, 4Suite provides a foundation for 4Suite Server (4SS). 4Suite is distributed under an open source Apache-like license.
