Adobe Save As XML is a free plug-in for Adobe Acrobat designed to help publishers conserve time by repurposing content. The plug-in allows content in tagged Adobe PDF files to be saved in Web friendly formats.

Tagged Adobe PDF can be generated by Microsoft Office 2000 (or later) applications, by using Acrobat's Web Capture feature on existing Web content, by applying Acrobat's Make Accessible plug-in or by processing PostScript+pdfmark with the Acrobat Distiller application.

Save As XML will output XML 1.0 without styling, HTML 4.01 with Cascading Style Sheets Level 1 (CSS1), HTML 3.2 Accessible, HTML 3.2 without CSS or plain text.

Save As XML currently supports both Windows and Macintosh platforms. This listing is for the Macintosh Plug-in.(Here's a link to the Windows version.)
