A Busy Developer's Guide to SOAP 1.1

A Busy Developer's Guide to SOAP 1.1 describes a subset of the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) 1.1 specification.

This subset is designed for ease of implementation (for busy developers), and to be a foundation for open interoperation between various Internet environments, similar to the role played by Extensible Markup Language Remote Procedure Calls (XML-RPC). The authors intend the protocol to be easy to implement for developers coming from either a SOAP or XML-RPC orientation, as well as quick to move to other operating systems.

A discussion group is available for review and comment as the document is developed, and a compatible validator may be used for implementation tests.
