Syntax of CSS rules in HTML's "style" attribute

Working Draft

This document defines the proper syntax and implementation details around using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) fragments allowed to be used within HTML 4.0's style attributes.

In practice, only CSS has been employed for the style attribute, but other languages are allowed. The syntax defined in this specification also applies to other standards using CSS rules for element attributes, such as XHTML Modularization and Math Markup Language (MathML).
