Overview

MetaMorphosis is one of the most powerful tree transformers available. It can be used to transform any kind of tree-structured data, most notably SGML and XML. But any other data which can be represented as a tree or a set of trees can be transformed as well, e.g. RTF, MIF, Interleaf ASCII, database tables, syntactic structures etc.

MetaMorphosis is used in many mission critical applications in automotive (Bosch, DaimlerChrysler, BMW), mechanical engineering, commercial publishing and aviation (e.g. Eurocopter). It is owned, developed and maintained jointly by Ovidius and Bosch.

MetaMorphosis has a modular architecture: new plug-ins for new data-structures can be added easily - either as MetaMorphosis functions or as C++-modules (for the latter one the MetaMorphosis SDK is required).

Throught its various APIs (C++, .Net, Java) MetaMorphosis can be integrated into almost any application.

MetaStep, a companion product of MetaMorphosis allows to define and execute complex automated workflows.

MetaMorphosis is available as a fully functional and unlimited free version for Windows and Linux (support only through the MetaMorphosis forum or as a commercial version with professional support.)
