XDB Gateway provides secure Internet database searching, allows concurrent heterogeneous database searches, creates an XML dataset from a relational or Object Data store and outputs multiple formats for Internet or application use. With XDB Gateway, just plug it in to your network and it's ready to go! Connect to any database to which you have a client access license available through Oledb or ODBC individually or heterogeneously in a secure, effective and fast way. The XDB Gateway will return to you an XML dataset, which holds the return data from the database queries. Security: At no time will the XDB Gateway open up any of your databases to the network outside of the XDB Gateway itself. All that is required is a web browser or client application place a call in to one of the XDB Gateway pre defined reports, and it will do the rest, I.e. Connect, Run the SQL Queries, Format the XML and Apply the XSL-T Styles. No scripts, no uncompiled code and no hassle.
