When combined with the Hive Intelligent Client, it delivers administrative tools for coordinating and monitoring the wireless system; allows for the integration of any type of legacy system or 3rd party database; delivers wireless messaging, alerts and email; and enables different types of mobile and internet devices to be connected to the system (e.g. PalmOS, PocketPC, Symbian, RIM, WAP, HTML, J2ME, i-mode). This provides a business flexibility to deliver multiple applications to a wireless device, such as email plus remote data capture plus remote information access. It also delivers a scaleable system that can cater for multiple users, and different target mobile devices.
