This component is based on J2EE and XML to integrate with existing IT systems and databases. When combined with the Hive Intelligent Client, it delivers administrative tools for coordinating and monitoring the wireless system; allows for the integration of any type of legacy system or 3rd party database; delivers wireless messaging, alerts and email; and enables different types of mobile and internet devices to be connected to the system (e.g. PalmOS, PocketPC, Symbian, RIM, WAP, HTML, J2ME, i-mode).
