Life*CDM is a fully integrated content management system. It includes functionality for editing and updating, the export of HTML and page make-up. It also supports looseleaf production.
It is designed to allow publishers to manage their data as an asset which can be re-used in different products and on different media. The concept is edit once and publish many, on paper, on CD-Rom or as an on-line service.
As a true SGML/XML element level repository Life*CDM can handle any granularity and can work with multiple DTDs. The repository is closely integrated with EPIC for editing and final page output can produced automatically using the batch pagination program.
