Overview

Newspak is a real-time news feed sourced from a number of international, national and regional news organizations. You can subscribe to individual services and then select stories according to 70 industry classifications.

Wavephore supplies a Newspak Software Developers Kit for the developers tasked with integrating the XML-based news content into their site. The Newspak SDK currently uses Perl and the XML::Parser.

Typical Applications: Provide a custom news feed for a corporate Web site.

Availability: It requires an NT Server or Workstation and supports both the IIS 4.0 and Apache 1.3.4 web servers.
