Overview

A popular tool for combining structured document editing with book-oriented page makeup. As the name suggests, the product is an extension of Adobe FrameMaker and may be used as both an unstructured and structured document-creation tool. FrameMaker+SGML has been successfully integrated with all the major content managers (Chrystal's Astoria, Documentum, Texcel, Xyvision's PDM).

In addition to the eponymous SGML, FrameMaker+SGML outputs HTML, PDF, and XML maintaining link integrity in all versions. It is localized for English, French, German, and Japanese.
