The Training Kit

Version: 2.0
Company: The Training Kit

Overview

If you need to create web-based training, this tool is a must! You use it to architect your training site, including advanced web functionality such as simulations and dynamic text, and this tool records that detail into an XML file. Defining a clickable directory, quizzes, exams, and a glossary are a snap with the incredable user interface that this tool provides. Combine this with a program that reads the XML file and displays HTML to the student, and you have a full-blown training web site. For this second application, the Web Engine, you can create your own (read XML in and send HTML out) or use ours. The Training Kit consists of two programs: Content Developer that you (the content developer in the training dept of your company) would use, and the Web Engine that the student uses. The two programs communicate via an XML file, created by Content Developer and read in by the Web Engine. As a productivity tool when defining your training content, there is NOTHING that will get your site up faster than using Content Developer: the premier Training Content XML Editor!

Typical Applications: development of web-based training material

Availability: Content Developer (the XML Writer) Version 2.0 now available. For a limited time, free copies are available (with reasonable company-distribution restrictions). The Web Engine (the XML Reader and HTML Writer), Version 1.0, is also available. A simulation of the Content Developer, presented to you via our Web Engine, is available free of charge to all interested parties.
