PolarLake

Version: 1.2
Company: PolarLake

Overview

PolarLake is the first enterprise strength XML server platform and Web Services Platform for the Java programmer.

PolarLake was developed from the ground up to host XML focused Java applications, and provides a full set of system and network services out of the box as well as a rich and productive environment for the developer.

Existing Java, EJB and COM components can be automatically exposed as Web Service providers. Composite Web Services and Web Service consumers can be easily constructed and deployed, with PolarLake adapters handling all SOAP and WSDL-specific processing.

Also included in PolarLake is a full set of development and deployment tools that supplement the existing Java development tools, and the J2EE platform if available.

The rules and component based programming framework significantly reduces the learning curve and complexity associated with developing XML applications in Java.

PolarLake itself is componentized and can be significantly reconfigured and customized for specific project requirements.

For .Net developers, the supplied bi-directional COM gateway allows PolarLake to integrate within a COM based architecture.

Availability: Solaris, Linux, Windows NT/2000
