Helpdesk Version: 1.2 Company: printx.org OverviewHelpdesk Client" is a fast, simple and fexible tool for project management and smart organization of daily tasks. Feel free to use and share it. You can customize it in a very flexible manner. Tasks can be exported to EXCEL, HTML, XML. There are also many other detailes derived from daily work and needs of a project team. At this time we are implementing a "peer to peer" functionality instead of a central database. After downloading the installer and unpacking the archive you can just klick [F1] to search for new updates. Estimated release intervals will be every two weeks. The data model is stable at this moment, so future releases will have accessed to now edited data. We have meanwhile over 6000 downloads (last two weeks). You can use the helpdesk client standalone without the need for the upcomming server (available: October 2001)Typical Applications: Helpdesk Support Availability: Standalone client is free to download and usage. Enterprise soap server will be available as release 1.0 in october 2001. Beta program and server protocol specs for interested customers available. Two server versions available with an open protocol to impelement own solutions : java servlet for tomcat, resin or jrun and native mircosoft service. No need of any additional database servers.
