Overview

Vivaserve Idapt/jms is an XML adapter software component that enables you to convert diverse company data to and from XML format. Idapt/jms can be a component of any application that requires two-way XML conversion and that can send and receive data via Java messaging.

• Idapt/jms dynamically converts XML documents to their corresponding non-XML or 'native' data record format. Similarly, converts native data records to their corresponding XML document format.
• Handles a wide range of native data structures and formats, and accommodates any well-formed XML document format.
• Comes with an easy-to-use interactive tool to define native data formats and XML mappings.
• Offers scalability through support of multiple queue receiver sessions.
• Ready to run in standard Java Messaging Service (JMS) environments.

Requires Java 1.2.2 or later. Also requires messaging software that complies with JMS 1.0.2 and JNDI 1.2.1 or later.

Typical Applications: Legacy application integration using a component-based approach on a Java application server.
