Canonical XML

Version: 0.14
Company: ElCel Technology

Overview

The ElCel Technology Canonical XML processor is a free command-line utility built using the C++ XML Toolkit.

It converts XML documents into the canonical form as described in the W3C Canonical XML 1.0 Recommendation. It also contains an implementation of James Clark's canonicalization method.

Useful for converting XML documents requiring a DTD into standalone documents. Can also be used to pre-process complex XML into simple XML before feeding into tools that cannot cope with the full XML 1.0 syntax.

Supports entity resolution using the OASIS XML catalog format.

Typical Applications: Transforming complex XML into standalone form

Availability: Binaries for Solaris, Windows and Linux may be downloaded from the ElCel Technology web site.
