Overview

The XML-Broker is an advanced XML transaction server for e-business integration. Based on Java (J2EE) and Enterprise Java Bean technologies, the XML-Broker gives enterprises the ability to quickly e-business enable internal information systems and connect directly with customers, partners and electronic marketplaces.

The XML-Broker consists of a stand alone transaction server and an application development environment for quickly developing XML components.

The XML-Broker transaction server adheres to the enterprise JavaBean 2.0 specification providing standard transaction management, resource sharing, and an EJB compliant container. It also provides security using open standards including SSL and X.509 digital certificates. Other features include synchronous and asynchronous transactions, fault tolerance, dynamic load balancing, component caching and Web based administration. Additionally, the XML-Broker supports dynamic data binding, eliminating the need for a developer to create inconsistent error prone XML parsing logic which greatly reduces future maintenance costs. As a result, the XML-Broker delivers benefits such as reduced time to market for mission critical applications, effortless scalability and portability, reduced reliance on hard to find developer skill sets and an overall increase in developer productivity.
