Overview

The Rhythmyx Integrator allows you to integrate XML into your web applications to quickly add wireless support, B2B access, and extensibility while reducing maintenance. Rhythmyx first converts HTML pages into XML representations of content and format using XSpLit™, Percussion’s patent-pending technology. No data access logic is ever embedded into your HTML pages, enabling changes to the look and feel of the application independent of how the backend data translates into a Web page.

Use the completely graphical interface to map data sources to XML content objects and content objects to formatting style sheets. Data transformations may be defined through user defined functions and conditional mappings. Multiple XSL style sheets may be conditionally applied to each XML page to enable dynamic formatting. Application logic is also defined, including security settings, error handling, and business rules. The Server handles all data access interactions within an application, which are checked for validity, optimized, and pre-initialized for maximum performance. Rhythmyx automatically manages data base interactions including session pooling, caching, result paging, and security.
